Even paradise can be a prison.

We all know what Arundhati Roy has done to our country. She has made speeches as if she were supporting Afzal Guru, saying that they were innocent and were only marking their protest. She even dismissed the fact that Afzal Guru was involved in the Parliament attack. And we all know that Afzal Guru himself admitted that he planned the attack on Parliament. Afsal guru's confession

And when it comes to Yasin Malik, we have seen many pictures of her with him. Yasin Malik is also known as Bitta Karate. He is said to have been one of the organizers behind the Kashmir riots, during which Kashmiri Pandits were forced to flee from Kashmir.

And when it comes to her remarks about Kashmir, she said that Kashmir was never an integral part of India. With such statements and her associations with such people, she made her interests very clear.

And when it comes to individuals who are symbols of the nation and righteousness, like Mahatma Gandhi and E. M. S. Namboodiripad, she used to criticize them without seeing the good in them. And when it comes to EMS, he was one of the best communists who ever lived. He sold all of his land for his cause. She called EMS a landlord and a zamindar in her books. That is how she works. She just tries to demonize whatever is good in the nation.

She just wants to spread the idea that India was never united and will never be, and she also wants to question the integrity of the nation and the unity between the states. That is what Arundhati Roy has been doing all these years.

Arundhati Roy does have some good qualities. One of them is that she writes from the point of view of women. Unfortunately, she often sugarcoats her anti national views with feminist or woman friendly writing. And the agenda of most of her books seems to be making women hate the culture, the integrity of the nation, and everything around us, not just patriarchy.

If she were only against patriarchy, that would be completely fine. But what she is doing is putting the thought into women’s minds that everything around them is against them. She thinks the women of India would justify the rapes happening here. That's not true. She should know how Indian women reacted to the Nirbhaya case and the following nationwide protests. All of those protests were filled with women, and it became the last nail in the coffin for the Manmohan Singh government.

So the need of the hour is that we need more women friendly writers to replace Arundhati Roy. We need more women friendly or women sided writers who care about the real issues women are facing, while also caring about the integrity of the nation and the good side of our culture. Of course, every culture has a bad side, and of course we should criticize that. But we should stop using these criticisms as a weapon against the nation and its integrity.
